The Jewish value—hiddur mitzvah—encourages the creation of beautiful ritual items and sacred spaces. Our newly renovated synagogue is bursting with hiddur mitzvah and we are excited to share one final piece with our community: our new entryway mosaic, entitled Open Your Eyes, created by artist Joshua Winer and supported by the Anita Winer Open Your Eyes Fund for the Arts.

We are excited to invite you to a Mosaic Dedication and Artist Talk on Thursday, May 28th at 7 PM on Zoom. This event is an opportunity to see Open Your Eyes up close and hear from the artist about the process of designing and building the mosaic—to represent the values and energy of our Temple Shalom Community.
