Families with Young Children (FwYC)

Please check out our WEBSITE for up to date info and to get added to our listserve for monthly emails. We are also on FACEBOOK!

Inspired by the belief that Families with Young Children (FwYC) are the future of the Jewish community, Temple Shalom welcomes and engages FwYC through a rich array of programs, services, classes and events.

Temple Shalom opens its arms as a warm, caring, nurturing space where families may plant roots, find community and build life-long friendships.  Member or not, we invite you to join us.

All FwYC events are open to the community and can be attended by parents, nannies, caregivers, grandparents and anyone else interested in exploring Jewish experiences and creating a connection with other area families anchored by Temple Shalom’s core values of Lifelong Learning, Enriching Spirituality, Building Community, Repairing the World, Deepening our Relationship with Israel and Sustaining Jewish Continuity.

Our congregation is sensitive to individual family’s needs and our community incorporates a wide range of family structures including married, divorced, single parents, LGBT and blended families.

New events and programs are continuously being added, so please check the Temple Shalom Families with Young Children website, and keep your eyes open for FwYC emails!

Please contact us with any questions or comments or to learn more about how Temple Shalom’s offerings might fit your family’s needs. Here’s looking forward to the opportunity to connect!
