Temple Shalom’s Book Club is once again off on a journey, but this time to Israel, and if truth be told, not really to Israel but to Etgar Keret’s memories of The Seven Good Years between the birth of his son and the death of his father. In a series of vignettes, Etgar, in his first novel, describes life in Israel as one of both wonder and sadness. His memoir is filled with life, love, poignant insights, and irrepressible humor.
