The Sisterhood and Tzedek Team of Temple Shalom are sponsoring a donation drive for
Dignity Matters.
Dignity Matters'
mission is to assist women and girls who are homeless or living in poverty by providing a reliable supply of monthly menstrual care products and underwear. They help women safely manage their periods, regain confidence, and participate fully in their own lives.
They distribute free menstrual care, underwear, and bras to 10,000 women and girls in Massachusetts through our network of 150 partners including shelters, food pantries, schools, community centers, and more.
How YOU Can Help: - Donate product through Dignity Matters’ Amazon Wish List, an easy way to give exactly what is needed. Product will ship to Dignity Matters.
- Deliver purchased product at a drop-off site. There are two drop-off sites in Newton:
- 120 Garland Road, Newton (Bin located in driveway of private home)
- 12 Philmore Road, Newton (Bin located in driveway or private home near garage)

Dignity Matters gladly accepts:- Pads and tampons of any brand, type, and size. We also accept open packages IF the items within are individually wrapped.
- New underwear (in original packaging), and new reusable “period underwear" in all sizes, styles and brands
- We accept new or like-new bras in all sizes, styles and brands (including sports and maternity bras)
