New Orleans Multigenerational Trip April 2024

Multigenerational (13+) trip to New Orleans

New Orleans is a hub of Jewish history and culture. Together we will learn about the incredible stories of how the Jewish community was formed, learn about organizations that make a difference for New Orleans and Southern Jewry, and meet locals who experience New Orleans Jewish life on a daily basis. We'll visit the Museum of Southern Jewish Experience, tour the Jewish section of New Orleans's French quarter, visit a beautiful Jewish temple, and hear from a local Jewish organization. Pending availability, we'll also get to taste some delicious Jewish New Orleans food.

There are many other important parts of New Orleans's vibrant life. We'll have a tour of New Orleans, and we'll eat local food.

We will also explore Black history and culture with your choice between visiting the Backstreet Cultural Museum, Studio Be, or The Free People of Color Museum. That day will end with dinner at a Black-owned restaurant.

We'll explore other great activities New Orleans has to offer. You'll get to choose between visiting City Park (beautiful park that has nice outdoors areas, swan boats, an amusement park, and more), attending a music performance or cafe, wandering the New Orleans Museum of Art, and discovering the incredible Mardi Gras World.

Each day, we will take some time for group reflection.

Here is the price breakdown:

  • $920 per person before flight when sharing a room of four people (you will have the opportunity to put in roommate requests)
  • $995 per person for a room of three people
