Temple Shalom is pleased to offer Rosh Hodesh for gender-identified girls in Grades 7 and 8.

The teen years are an exciting but turbulent time when girls are dealing with self-esteem, body image, competition, and other issues. It's when friendship and mentorship are most needed, and the values and support of a Jewish community can be a positive guiding force. This is why Rosh Hodesh exists.
In small peer groups with trained adult mentors, Rosh Hodesh creates experiences where girls can bond and have open conversations about real adolescent issues once a month. Research shows that Rosh Hodesh has a powerful and lasting impact, empowering Jewish girls to become strong, confident young women.

Rosh Hodesh is a program of Moving Traditions- a national nonprofit committed to creating meaningful teen experiences. The program is supported at Temple Shalom by Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
