12:00 PM - 1:00 PMZoomPeople Love Dead Jews
Is this actually true? It can't be. Or when you really think about it, is it? In her new book, novelist and academic, Dara Horn's main insight is that much of the way we've developed to remember and narrate Jewish history is, at best, self-deception and, at worst rubbish. Her book is simple, an easy read, and deeply provocative. Reviews suggest it is a masterpiece; a profound reexamination of all we believe to be true about anti-Semitism.
Rabbi Berry, who stayed up all night to finish this book, invites you to join her for a two session discussion, examination, and debate about People Love Dead Jews.
There will be two sessions offered, both of which will cover the same content. Please choose which session best fits your needs and comfort levels when registering.
***Due to increasing public health concerns, both sessions will now be on Zoom.***
- Wednesday, January 19th, 12:00 PM - This session will be a Lunch & Learn, held via Zoom.
Friday, January 21st, 7:30 PM- This session has been canceled due to a special Shabbat service
People Love Dead Jews can be purchased on Amazon and at other bookstores.
