Book Talk: How To Fight Anti-Semitism

Tuesday, December 3, 2019 5 Kislev 5780

7:00 PM - 8:30 PMCongregant's Home

It is distressingly clear, anti-Semitism is on the rise in the United States and around the world.
Academics, journalists, rabbis and other leaders both Jewish and from outside the Jewish community are writing and analyzing and processing this terrible new reality as we work to find concrete ways to fight against hate.

NY Times journalist, Bari Weiss joined the Temple Shalom community in October for a discussion about her new book, How to Fight Anti-Semitism. The in-person discussion was rich and complex. We invite you to join Rabbi Berry and Rabbi Abrasley to continue the conversation about Bari’s book.

Our goal is to start with one scheduled discussion date with the possibility of each learning group continuing to study and discuss additional reading and articles following the first conversation. In advance of this first session we ask that you read Bari Weiss’s book. Book discussions will be held at member’s homes. We will share the final address/locations with you once the groups have formed.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
