Donations to Emergency Relief Funds
There are so many wonderful organizations that support Israel every day. In this time of crisis, we have compiled a list of a few organizations we know are directing their efforts towards supporting those most affected by the war. We know there are many others. Please contact our office if you would like us to consider adding an organization that is working on this issue.
CJP – Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Jewish Boston – Israel Emergency Fund
CJP stands with Israel and has opened this emergency fund to provide immediate financial assistance and relief to victims of terror and war.
American Friends of Magen David Adom
Magen David Adom is Israel’s disaster relief, ambulance, and blood service.
Friends of the Israel Defense Forces
FIDF is a non-political, non-military organization that provides for wellbeing of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), veterans and family members. They have established an emergency campaign to provide humanitarian support for Israel's soldiers.
Israel’s National Food Bank and is the leading food rescue organization in Israel. They have established 3 emergency funds.
A coalition of Israeli organizations working in disaster relief and international development. Currently partnering with local & civil society organizations to coordinate humanitarian efforts, support and urgent aid.
IAC New England – Israel American Council
IAC builds an Israeli-American community with strong connections to the Jewish American community and promotes the bond between the people of the United States and the state of Israel. IAC Boston Is arranging shipments of items to Israel via Amazon. See their website for additional information.
The New Israel Fund fights for an Israel where everyone can participate in a shared and just society. An important piece of their work is the grants they provide to organizations that further these efforts. Their newly established emergency safety net fund will go to support agencies and NGO’s that will provide basic care for the most vulnerable groups, to combat violent speech and incitement online, to prevent inter-communal violence in mixed cities and to provide mental health and trauma counseling to those who need it most.
