We hope you are well and we thank you for your ongoing patience regarding our plans for Nature Explorer Camp this summer. We have spent significant time reading through and evaluating the new guidelines and regulations given to us by the Massachusetts Department of Health in collaboration with the Department of Early Education and Care. We are sad to share with you that Nature Explorer Camp will not open in Summer 2020. This decision was made in the careful consideration of the best interest of our families, staff, teachers, and children.
While the recently developed plans for reopening summer camps allow for a camp season in technicality, we feel that it is important to use this time to prepare our space and staff for a smooth fall opening. We know the need for quality childcare is desperate, and we are evaluating every possible avenue to welcome your children back to Temple Shalom as soon as possible.
Camp families have the options of requesting a refund of camp tuition, applying the payments towards outstanding or future Temple Shalom Nursery School charges, or making a full or partial donation to ensure our excellent early childhood programs continue to run. Nailed It! Youth Group event Sunday, Oct 26th 1:30p to 3:00p "A friendly teen baking / decorating "competition" where participants will have way too little time to recreate something that's way too complicated, to see who can produce the most impressive (or, maybe, least horrific) masterpiece!"
