MA'ARIV Opportunities
MADRICHIM PROGRAM
The Madrichim program is an opportunity to develop leadership skills though training and hands-on experience. Our teen Madrichim serve as teaching assistants in our Grade K-5 classrooms and small groups and provide one-on-one support for kids with mild to moderate disabilities. They are an essential component to the success of our youth programs! This is a paid opportunity or eligible for community service hours.
SHAFTY
SHAFTY is the high school youth group for teens in grades 8-12 at Temple Shalom. SHAFTY is peer-directed group teens who create and run incredible programs throughout the year. It's always fun, often thought-provoking, and your gateway to the regional and national programs of NFTY! If you are a Temple Shalom 8th-12th grader then you are automatically a SHAFTY-ite!
