Welcome to 5780! We look forward to spending High Holy Days together as a community in our new Sanctuary and worship space. Tickets have been sent to member families in good standing, for all adult members of your household as well as children 13-26 years of age.

Guest Tickets
Tickets for guests may be acquired by members in good standing at a cost of $118 per ticket by completing the online High Holy Day form. You must be logged in to access this form. Please contact Caroline Dorn if you have trouble logging in.

Courtesy Seating
If your guest is a member of another Reform congregation they may be entitled to reciprocal tickets at no cost. Visit this link for more info about Courtesy Seating.

Childcare and Children's Programming
Babysitting is available for those 4 and under following the Tot Service on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Children in Grades K-3 are invited to attend the B'Yachad Services and will be able to participate in a separate educational program during the Torah reading and sermon. NO registration is required for any children's programming.

Usher and Safety Team
Are you the person who chooses to sit in the exit row of an airplane?  Do people ask you for directions on the street? Are you excited to greet new members and guests to Temple Shalom? You might be the perfect addition to our newly formed Usher & Safety Team. A mandatory preparation meeting will be held on Sunday Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Sign up here.

Yom Kippur Food Drive
The High Holy Days are also a time to think about those in need. We will be collecting food to distribute through the Newton Food Pantry. Grocery bags will be distributed on Rosh Hashanah. Please fill the bag and put bags inside the truck parked on Temple Street throughout Yom Kippur. We thank the Green family for their continued support to make this act of tzedakah (charity) a reality.
