Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone

Do you feel comfortable delivering bad news?
Do you look forward to speaking in public?
Is it easy for you to speak your mind and be assertive with friends and colleagues?

If you answered “no” to any of these questions, this event is for you!  Come hear Andy Molinsky discuss findings from his book Reach.  You’ll learn about why it’s so hard for people to step outside their comfort zone, how they avoid doing so, and how to be more successful.

Andy Molinsky,  is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and International Management at Brandeis University.  His work helps people develop the insights and courage necessary to act outside their personal and cultural comfort zones when doing important, but challenging, tasks in work and life.  Andy earned his Ph.D in Organizational Behavior and M.A. in Psychology from Harvard University. He also holds an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University.

His first book, Global Dexterity received the Axiom Award Silver Medal for Best Business Book in International Business and Globalization.  Andy is a regular columnist at Forbes and Harvard Business Review. LinkedIn chose Andy as a “Top Voice” and he is one of Marshall Goldsmith’s “Top 50 World Leaders in Coaching.”  Andy consults and lectures widely to corporate audiences and is the creator of the “Global Dexterity Certification Program” for coaches, teachers, trainers, and consultants seeking to adapt successfully to foreign cultures without losing themselves in the process.
