Angels. A world created, twice. A sly, talking snake. Mysterious unnamed men. A boat big enough to save the world. A tribal chief with four wives. Murderous brothers. Conniving parents. A world with no sun. Fountains spouting out of the earth. A mud man. Dreamers and dream readers. It’s the Book of Creation - Genesis. We’ll do some reading, we’ll do some writing, we’ll do some discussing. Let’s look at the book of Genesis through the lens of mythology, trying to unwrap what the stories might be telling us if they were a standalone text - stories told under a desert sky.
