Dear Temple Shalom Community,
Every day, we seem to wake up to more news in the world that weighs on our hearts and souls. It can be hard not to feel on edge, exhausted, or worried. But Judaism is a religion of hope and there is so much hope and joy, strength and support to be found here at Temple Shalom. Our clergy, staff and lay leadership are here for you. Connecting with one another, celebrating Jewish life, and helping others can bring healing to us all. Here are a few ways you can gather with us to experience the hope of learning, laughter, charity and song.
- Donate to support and rebuild Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, MS
- Help the Jewish community in Minneapolis support local immigrant communities
- Gather with our clergy or a clinician for spiritual support
- Learn with our Rothman Scholar-in-Residence Samantha Joseph, ADL Regional Director, about effective communication strategies for combating antisemitism
- Enjoy an evening of humor and delight with the Word Mavens, sponsored by our Sisterhood and open to all
- Celebrate Shabbat for families with young children at Ark Adventures
- Sing with us at Shabbat Shira on January 30th, rejoicing in freedom through song
- Rejoice in an incredible 75 Years of Temple Shalom
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Jen Gubitz & Cantor Jen Keren
