Caring Community
Rhoda Ben-Gai, Chair
The Caring Community Committee coordinates the volunteer activities of members who serve other members at times of need and also at times of joy. Information about congregants who need the services of this committee comes from the clergy, the Temple office and other congregants. The committee members respect the privacy of all congregants who receive help from the committee.
The Caring Community Committee provides meals in times of crisis or on a short-term basis, visits the sick and homebound, delivers baked goods to houses of mourning, transports congregants to doctor’s appointments and activities at the Temple, and knits and crochets healing shawls for congregants who have experienced chronic illness or personal trauma.

We meet every other month. Committee meetings are open to anyone who is interested. |
